RE: Hunting Standing Corn Crops
Then you can have backstraps and popcorn! ha!
...actually, no, don't do this :D ORIGINAL: il coyote No rows, huh?? That corn was never planned on being cut. You can either still try what NYBH suggested, or walk laps around the 300ac. and maybe find a good ambush point. If that doesnt work you could always wait for a really dry, windy day and burn the whole darn thing down.;) |
RE: Hunting Standing Corn Crops
Will have a chance to scout things out tomorrow, and see what sign of him I can find. Hopefully I can find his scrape line and wait on it since new snow will (to him) necessitate refreshing them. About the only way I can be sure of his location at this point.
On a humorous note: My alternative was to get a buddy to drive my toyota/chevy (toyota bod, axles, and frame, 350, NP205 and chev tranny) that has a sunroof I installed and go out at night with my KC lights on, and find him in it that way. Pic of truck enclosed to give idea of how I would see over the 6' + corn. :D (those are 33" tires to gauge the height by) Of course I would never do that as it highly goes against my ethics, and legallity. Nor would IwouldI wantanyone elsedo so either |
