Rough score please?
 

Wondered if some of you might be able to give me a rough score on this buck I took last week. He's currently at the taxidermist.. and I haven't had a chance to get the tape out yet. I was told prolly somwhere in the 140 range. Has a 15 7/8" inside spread and 10-11" G3s. I can barely fit my hands around the bases.. So any of you care to throw you best educated guess out there?

Well guys.. I just got my rack back from thetaxidermist.. and done measuring it myself... will be taking it to get officially scored later on..

Not bad for 1st decent buck I don't think. Gonna get him mounted in a pedestal mount. Can't wait.

my figures came out in the mid 140's, great deer man


here is link for measure info, for main beam measure and tine lenght igo bythe ears on the deer and your hand size, so i could have shorted you, hard to tell those things in a picture;)

Nice deer and will make a beautiful mount. I figure 140's as a main frame 10. The spread will keep the score down.

Thanx guys... yeah.. I'm not too hung up on the score either.. but everyone keeps asking me.. so I figured I'd ask for a rough guesstimate.

Yeah the spread isn't very wide... but what he lacks in spread he makes up for in height and mass.

And to think.. I actually thought about passing on this buck... oh for about 2 seconds.

Nice buck! Congrats, I'd say mid 140's!
