This gun was my great grandpas in ww2 the model # says 1903 does any one know what shes worth? what war do you think it was made for

Sorry, I can't help you but you may try posting this in the guns section of the forums also. Maybe you shouldn't find out how much it's worth so your not tempted to sell it. Good luck on the research.

i'm gonna take a random stab and say 1903 springfield cuz i've heard that before.

and for some reason i think that was a british gun?

1903 Springfields were in production right up to WWII when the M-1 Garand became the standard issue battle rifle. They were made in various configurations. The value will be determined by the condition and exact model. Do a Google on 1903 Springfield and see what you can find out.
