RE: Buck Roar
Ditto, I saw a video on them. It was a guy who shot a doe, and after he did, a buck came up and starting goring the dead doe. While he was goring that doe, he was doing that roarin sound. Pretty soon, 3-4 bucks were around. I think this was the first evidence of just how effective the vocalization is. I have never personally used the call, but I think I'm going to buy one soon.

RE: Buck Roar
I had some luck with it opening morning. I had a buck walking away from me on my right side. I grunted at him with all I had with the Buck Roar. He turned around and made a 90 degree arc right into a shooting lane. Iunfortunately missed thebuck and have been kicking myself ever since.I don't think it is a miracle call by any means. I don't think that by blowing on it you will have every buck within 10 miles coming in. I really like the snort-wheeze option on it as well.It does give a very deep and realistic grunt that to me is one of the most believable grunt calls out there.

Ditto to NCSportsman, I called in bucks onthree different occasionswith it the first weekend of gun season, they came running in looking for action, I took one of on them after sitting in my stand about 30 minutes. now that full rut has kicked in they haven't even thought aboutresponding to it.
