RE: I'm Back from Alberta
ORIGINAL: DoctorDeath I had to make my trip to Alberta witout my rifle because when I arrived at the airport I could not find the key to my rifle case and they would not allow my rifle on the plane unless it was locked ...so I called Don (the outfitter) from Nashville before I flew out and told him ...he said he would have a rifle available for me when I arrived dd "The Application for a Non-Resident Temporary Borrowing Licence for Non-Restricted Firearms (Form JUS 715 EF) must be submitted and approved ahead of time by the Chief Firearms Officer of the province where you intend to borrow the firearm(s)." |

The fee is $30 for this licence. Geez,,, a Canadian living in Canada,, and knowing the firearms regulations just won this rodeo! click this link, scroll half way down! stop and read section on Firarms borrowed in Canada. http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/info_for-renseignement/factsheets/visitin_e.asp |
RE: I'm Back from Alberta
why jump on DD in reference to "checking" his gun(s) in anyway? that had nothing to do with the topic. he admitted to losing the key himself and was not blaming the outfitter or Canada for this.
