Nice photoshop or what?
 

My buddy from Mississippi sent this pic to me a few years ago claiming this guy found this buck dead in a swamp. Looking at the picture it looks like a heck of a photoshop pic when you look at the size of the guys fingers holding the rack, but the shadows on the wall throw me off a bit. What do you think?

Looks fake. Could be real though. Notice how far out in front he is holding it. That makes it look alot bigger!...I've done it with fish pics.

It looks real to me. The guy is just holding it way out in front of him. His arms are straight, and the camera is close. Comparing the rack with the skull and fingers, gives a better reference to size. A big buck, and looks like a 170-180 gross score, to my guess.

Thats all he is doing, holding the antlers in front at arms length, just a little farther than everyone else seems to do;);)....still nice deer though around 160 nontypical probably

OK guys i think its real first of all would you hold that much of a rotten buck with your bare hands? hes wearing gloves of course! and its a great buck probably 180" maybe a little bigger

First off those are some fat fingers. Second there is something about the antler shadows that don't look right....That's just my $.02

Thats a bogus picture. The artist did a good job, but not good enough. The angles are too extreme. The flash on a camera is offset, but not offset enough. Angles are just all wrong, and there is no shadow on his body, except in the spot where one brow tine goes from his shoulder to the wall, and shadows don't travel in straight lines. Its just bogus. Its an upclose picture of a large dead deer, superimposed over a guy probably holding a roadkill cat, or a can of beer or something.

yeah, the shadow on his shoulder wouldnt line up with the shadow on the wall like that

I think that that is a real picture, he is just holding it far away because it probably smells really bad! I hold fishing pics close all the time so they look bigger than they really are!

No, I think the picture is real. He is holding the head straight out from his body and the camera is very close to the deer head. He doesn't have gloves on.

i think its real...his fingers looks so big because they are closer to the camera...just like you do if you want to lie about a big fish

Im with kshunter, it looks real to me. The skull is real close to the camera thats why it looks so wide! Beautiful buck.

I think it is fake but thats just me. The shadows are not right and the flash looks like it is centered on the deers head when in a pic like that it should be on the center of the pic

Chalk another one up for the non real, something in this pic just doesnt look right at all, ok, theres acouple of things in this pic that just dont look right,

That's real. The shadows look a little weird because it's an extremely close pic, and his back is real close to the wall. Look at the rack-shadows; the ones closer to the camera are fuzzy, and the antlers that are a little farther away look sharper because they are closer to the wall. No gloves, just holding it out at arm's length.

FAKE, FAKE, FAKE. Fingers way too fat. Looks lik he has the hands of the incredable hulk. Also look at the shadow on the guys right shoulder. It's not offset from him standing off the wall.

guys, it has got to be fake. there is no doubt that the antlers are real, but the size is exaggerated. The shadows are way too dark and sharp, it doesn't look like he is standing against the wall, but the shadows would say that he is. The shadows should be a little larger on the wall and a little smaller (if any) on his clothing. I think someone simply took the rack out, put it in paintshop, inlarged it and pasted it back in. They added the shadow in order to cover the edges were they cut it out. I have some photoshop work that I have done if anyone is interested in seeing it. If it was trick photography, the hands would still be proportional to the antlers and the dudes body. sorry it took so long to get to the point.
