got a doe last weekend

I got a doe last weekend, a nice big one too. She came trotting up around 10:00 while I was drinking a cup of coffee. I had to work fast to put the cup down and pick the gun off my lap to drop her in her tracks at 40 yards.

We have a big buck-to-doe ratio so I was glad to get this one. :)

Congratulations on your doe, should be some great eating! The buck to doe where I hunt is wayyy out of whack also, taking those does is important.

Great shooting!

A doe is something to be proud of anytime, but when taking them is really needed like it is around here, it makes it all the more special.
