It scared me to take the shot as well. I have never been one for a head shot or neck shot. It is too risky and I hope that I am never placed in a situation where I have to make that choice again. Standing broadside at under 40yards defintely right behind front shoulder. But when it is staring you down in the middle of bsh and all you can see is two eyes, nose and part of throat. You have to decide quickly. Again I am not recommending or suggesting that anyone ever take a head shot.
