I did joke about quarter'in him up after we were standing around him in aww....but we had plenty of time to get him outta there.
As far as having to weigh them, I don't think it's required. I got myself a 6 ptr the next day and didn't have to weigh him coming outta the woods at the reporting station. Don't even think she asked??

Congrats from a fellow mainer! Beautiful Buck!! I have a camp in Rockwood and get up there every chance I can get. Thats what Whitetail hunting is all about. I bet if you put Jackie Bushman or some of the others up there "fair chase" they wouldn't fare too well .Again , Nice Buck Backstraps for miles!!!
