Only Tootsie Pops - any flavor will do....nothing else.I usually have threewhen I stay in the treestand all day. That's 11 hours.
Now, I can shoot with a Tootside Pop in my mouth, it makes no noise, good for the throat on those dry Fall days, gives a slight boost of energy and I can re-wrap it, without a sound,2-3 times in the original wrapper.
Nothing like putting the crosshairs on thatnice buckfrom 20 feet above with a watermelon flavored Tootsie Pop hanging out the side of your mouth.

I usually dont eat in the stand. I'm usually too busy, but I make it a ritual to eat deer the night before a hunt. It has brought me and my buddies success!

PBJ's, nutrigrain bars, banana, apple or pearwashed down with h2o. I don't like candy and chocolate gives me a very shallow lift so basically useless to eat a chocolate bar when hunting. Yes even "Snickers don't satisfy me"..lol!
