Here they do without any problem, and the younger bucks seem to move away when use a grunt here.

if I use a grunt call in my area usually only one buck will come to it, the big one, all the little bucks just circle wide and stay out of the way of the the big boy.

when i have had a doe around my stand and she would walk off i would give about two grunts it's fun to watch them come back again trying to find out were it was coming from. some times i would do it just to mess with thier head i know it's mean and all but it is fun to do it

I hunt on base here in NC and I have called in does and bucks every time out with a doe can call and magnum buck call. I think I get bored and think I’m calling too much but the deer come straight to me. I haven’t seen any monster bucks yet but these calls work. I hit the call while they are around me and they just look very curious.
Hit the call in the woods about every 20 minutes if the woods is very quiet, and see what happens.
BTW the rut is in full swing here in eastern NC. GOOD LUCK!
