New Clothing Suggestions
I am in need of a new hunting parka and bibs. It has been 10 years since my last purchase and I know a great deal has changed from the days of cotton. I have been looking at the Cabela's MT050 Whitetail Extreme series and the Cabela's Super Slam Elite Fleece series. I hate to be cold and that is my first concern along with being quiet and scent control. I am looking for suggestions on clothing as well. So if you have any pros or cons on the above that would be helpful.
Also I understand I should wear a good underlayer, so any suggestions would be helpful and maybe a Polartec layer. I feel like a kid asking how I should dress, but hopefully someone will learn from my question. I don't mind the cost aspect as you can tell, I keep my clothes for a very long time. |
RE: New Clothing Suggestions
I'd like to see where this goes, as I need to get some good inexpensive stuff. All I have are some hardwoods coveralls, boots, and gloves. I need something for warmer weather than sitting on my ass in the dead of winter.

I really would like to find something at Cabela's or Bass Pro, as they are both places I can try the items on.

RE: New Clothing Suggestions
I purchased the MT050 insulated bibs four years ago. I have no negative remarks on the product. They are warm, comfortable, reasonably quite, and have held up to date. I would buy another pair if something happen to mine. I also have the uninsulated pants that I bought at the same time. Given the large amount of abuse they have been put through they have also held up surprisingly well.
