deer and deer hunting is great, and so is north american whitetail, as well as bowhunting. I agree feild and stream are not hunting magazines at all

Ditto on the QDMA magazine.I've been member 4 yrs.Best - no BS mag you'll ever get IMO.They also send a bunch of other stuff when you join. They have spoken at 1 state F&W meeting in recent years.
I also attended 1 local seminar where they spoke, had a slide show etc.

Should give it a try for a year.

Ok, so opinion is kind of split on Field and Stream. I knew of the QDMA, but have never seen their magazine.

I'm really liking that I've heard of most of the magazines. I also appreciate everyone's opinions. Unfortunately my magazine budget isn't unlimited, so I will need to choose.

Deer and Deer Hunting seems to turn up the most whenever I ask this question.

I love peterson's hunting as well. They have a lot of really good deer articles in it. they are always really interesting to read and you can learn a lot from them.

field and stream is good but it dosen't dig as deep as D&DH, but it is a classic, well writtenmag. How long have they been around now? Awhile. that don't happen by acident.
