I've shot a lot of big bore centerfire rifles and none of them compare to a 3" slug out of a 12 gauge pump, I think. I don't want any part of them! The shake my teeth loose!

I shot a 460 weatherby mag when I was 16 and have not gone there since some 30 years later.

The funny part is it belonged to an 82 year old man and I watched him shoot about 20 rounds through that monster.

I can almost still feel it just thinking about it.

Worst for me was either the .308 or the 30-06 TC Encore Pistols I owned... Good grief... all in the palm of your hand.
After the first shot - you realised it just was plain "NOT FUN".

But I fixed that.
I lenthened the forcing cone and now it feels like a 20 gage.

But before that it kicked like a big ole mean Bull LoL

I owned a 416 Rem Mag for quite a while. It has the soutest recoil of anything I have owned. I quess the 458 Win Mag which I have fired a little beats out the 416 by a bit.
