Shot a black powder shotgun that could be loaded for all 12 gauge, all 10 gauge and light 8 gauge loads. That was 25+ years ago and I'm just now getting use of my right arm and the bruise has just recently turned a really nice shade of blue/green/black and I don't look like a hunch back when the light is just right...

I agree with the 835 with 3.5's. No fun to shot but very effective.

I had a .35 whelen that I used to hand load 250 grain grand slams and it kicked like heck. I traded it for a 300 mag and the mag feels like a 22

my grandfather goose gun had a 36 inch barrel I pull the trigger and my grandfather help me up off the ground. never again funny now it was not than, LOL

No doubt about it. My T/C Omega, 325 grain LFNFB cast lead bullet in a sabot over 120 grains of Black Mag 3. Hoo boy, that load knocked me back into last week. Three shots finished the day for me.
