Do decoys work better in the woods or out in a field? I know this picture is not the greatest, but this is my hunting land. The stand I am using on the west side (left) is where I am hunting saturday. Would you place thedecoy in the woods about 40 yards from the field or in the field. From my stand to the edge of the field is about a 40 yard shot.

My decoy hasnt got scent problems it was a visual problem for the deer they just dont like it,,the only time i will take it out of the barn is if im hunting a long powerline and need something that will stop a deer from a long distance to look at,about long enough to settle them crosshairs.. Other than that i leave it at the house..
