DO THEY around here thats about all they eat. We have some fat deer. lol

The beans are preferred early when they are green. One of the best foods around. They will still eat them after they dry but corn is usually better then. They will also pick up loose beans off the ground after they are shelled.

in august and september deer love them, because they are like 65% protien. In late season they will eat them if they have 2 but they prefer corn.

late nov they start going to corn more but I have seen bigger bucks around old bean fields even in december

big bucks tend to head to bean fields around the rut to keep up their protein intake
