I could never squeeze the trigger on an animal without knowing where the shot is going to go. Enough can go wrong out there even when you do it all right.
Please don't shoot again until you sight it in and make sure all the hardware is tightened. Know the elevation adjustments to make all the way out to your chosen maximum range.
I'll also recommend reverifying yourzero anually before each season, and againeach time youhave the weapon shipped or handled as baggage on an airline or bus.
I didnt have time to sight in my rifle.
