What should i do Mock Scrape or not
 

I know there is some deer that are using in this certain area. And found to fresh rubs that was not there a couple days ago. But i dont know how big the buck is. If i want to make a mock scrape what scent should i use. I dont want to scare the buck off by using dominant buck urine if he is a smaller buck but then again if it is a muture buck then it would work. What should i do. Going back to this area next weekend what should i do what scent should i do for a mock scrape. Thanks.

Use plain doe urine in the scrape. If during the rut or just before or after the rut, use estrus scent.

i will give it a shot. I found some doe urine that is probably about four to five years old is this scent still good. I found like three bottles in my stash.

I just bought a can of Buck Bomb the doe estrus going to give it a shot on Nov. 11 opening day of muzzle loader season in VA.

The old scent may keep them away, buy new.
