AM hunt of Pm hunt?
 

Just curious as to what time of day everyone prefers to hunt at.

i hate to just vote on one because i believe one is productive as the other...havent had much luck miday but still try it anyway....

I voted for morning but any time during daylight hrs is good. I just love hunting when you can see the sun rising and the woods coming alive for the day. PEACEFUL

I'm more of a night person and I don't like to get up early. Given a choice I prefer an evening hunt because I'd rather pack everything up in the dark, rather than setup in the dark.

I like the morning when the big bucks are moving. But I hunt all three times.

I'm a guy that can sit all day, but I voted pm.
My favorite hunt is saturday night because if I get lucky I have all day sunday to deal with it, I won't take a shot sunday night unless its a perfect opportunity and/or I can get the following day off work (archery).

I usually get out around 10 to 11:00 a.m. I am on vacation during the week of hunting, and do not like to get up too early. I need to have breakfast, watch television to see if the world has survived the night. Then cleanup, shower, and then go out hunting.

I have to agree with NBDeerhunter, I enjoy the start of a day from a tree stand. Watching the light from the sun slowly light up the woods. Seeing the animals fire up and start their morning feeding. Relaxing and very peaceful.

I like the morning hunt better than the evening , but most of the timewhen I'm hunting I'm out all day .

I prefer morning hunts. I think I have about as good luck taking deer at either end of the day, but I personally like the morning hunt better. If I take a deer, I have plenty of light to field dress the animal, drag it to the truck, get it checked in at the check station, and get it hung in the back yard. I like watching the woods come alive in the morning better than seeing it go to sleep at night. I feel a greater sense of excitement in the morning wondering what the growing light will bring than in the evening. But for me the deer hunting results have been about equally productive morning versus evening.

My favorite is the morning hunt, but anytime I am in the woods works
for me.

I picked the morning. I don't like the sun setting on me while in the woods for some reason. Don't mind entering dark woods if I know it is going ot be daylight in about an hour and half.
