RE: fake antlers?

See the yellow tag in his ear? That would mean a farm deer, usually. I worked on a deer farm whenI was younger. The farm was established as a study on how genetics and nutrition effected deer development. If you want, I can go into details later, in a different thread.

Anyways, we had some bucks up there that were absolutely huge, much like this picture. So, to say it is not possible would be a lie. But I can not say yes or no on this particular deer.

I would have to say that the antlers are real cause the texture, color of the antlers match to the rest of the pic and the deer its self the only thing that would make me say fake is the droptine at the front on both sides and how identical they are i just wouldnt think that is very likely but then you never know.

that deer is incredibly huge, but with the tag it's believable if it was photoshopped someone took their time and did it right.

The droptines arent fake. As you can see on the right side "the way we're lookin at it in the picture" the antler coming off of the droptine is bigger than the left side.

Look at the thickness coming out of the skull.......

The amount of antler seems excessive. Also the connection of antler to hair on skull seems to blend in tooo nicely.

doctored pic.....in my opinion

I would say the pic is for real! Since it's a farm raised deer they pretty much had the thing pose for the digital picture! They probably have a million pictures of this beast, this one is just the best!

I don't see why someone would photoshop a deer like this and leave the tag in its ear???
