Disturbing hunt today
 

This morning I met up with my hunting party. One of the guys and his father work for a farmer, they told us of two young bucks 3x3's, that they found at the edge of the river in some tree's. They were gutted and left, then while walking another piece of property this afternoon, we found another young buck, gutted and left there. We called the game warden, and he collected the deer, they were rotting. These kind of people really tick me off. It's one thing if someone poaches a deer to feed their family, but this kind of crap is just a waste, much like the people who did it.

Hope they get those A$$holes. I don't understand people like that. A disgrace to us all.

Reading your post really upset me, as 30-30 said it make all of us look bad.

I wonder why they would go through the trouble to gut them and then just leave them? In any case I truly hope some light is placed on this matter and the people are caught and charged.

Thats terrible but I am with jred on this it doesnt make sense that someone would gut a deer and then leave it.

What would be thge point. Usually people who kill just to kill are too lazy to do what's right. Why did they take the time to gut them?

Really strange. Sounds like the poachers only like to eat the liver and heart or something like that. Pretty bad. At least do what Model722 eluded to and take the deer to a meat processing plant for the "Hunter For The Hungry" program.

sounds to me like they shot the deer, gutted them then probably got scared about getting caught and left them.

That is strange that someone would take the time to gut them and then just leave everything else. What is the point? I sure hope they catch em and string em up.

Wasn't there something a while ago in that Sasquatch post about finding dead deer with their livers missing and it was speculated that Bigfoot was eating the livers right before winter because they had a high protein content and it would help him through the winter.
