me and a buddy handload everything but he does most of it as all the equipment is at his place and he now lives a few hrs away. But I do get some loading in whenever I visit him

This yr going with the Remington Managed Recoil for my 30-06. Really cuts down on the shoulder pounding, and for my hunting shouldn't cause any problems. I hunt in the woods, and longest shot will probably be only 50-70 yds. They only come in 125 gr. for the '06, but that should be sufficient if placed right.

I sure would like to get into reloading, but I have neither the time nor the money. So I buy Federal Premium ammo instead.

I use Remington Managed Recoil in .30-06. I just took up deer hunting last season, and I've killed six deer with six shots using this ammunition. As you can imagine, I'm sold on it.

I didn't vote becuase its a mix

Handguns: My reloads (with leadcast bullets, that I buy)
Rifles: White box winchester (el cheapo) or reloads
Shotgun: Federal (either expensive sabot slugs or their cheap walmart 100packs of shotshells)

ive tried almost every bullet out there and my guns like Remmington Core lokts they put a hurting on deer too, i love them. Right now im shooting 150gr. out of my Herters .308

I usually load 150 gr. speer spitzers in my 270, but I'm going to try remington 150 gr. core-lok'ts this year. I never shot a deer with 270 factory loads.

I voted "cheap factory stuff" because that's what I use in my deer rifles. Remington Express 100 gr. PSP Core Lokt's in my .243, or Winchester Super X 150 gr. Power Points in my .30-06.

I reload for my 12 gauge and for my .45's.

I tried Remington Core Lokts and Winchester's in my 7mm MAG and it seemed like they just blew through the deer. Last year I switched to the Federal Fusions and didn't have a deer go further than 20 yards after the shot.
