I didn't get any "after" shots of my button from last year, but here is my 7 pt. from the 2004 season. Shot at 9am, from a 10ft. high stand on the edge of a set aside field along the treeline. One shot with the CVA .45 cal muzzleloader from about 40 yards and he went about 20 before he crashed. Makes for easy tracking...

here is a link to a few pictures of deer from last season and moose from last year.
The 2 bucks together are my wife & dad's deer from this year. Both shot on opening morning.

This is my 05' buck. It is my largest to date and by far my most valued trophy. I spent many hours in the woods after a different buck, and after giving up on him my sights set on this big boy.

I went to a spot that hold about 15-20 does and no bucks. Since it was the peak of the rut, I figured I might get lucky. The does filtered out of the swamp and I heard hit grunting behind them the whole may. Made a bad shot on him but was able to recover. Shot November 19, 2005.

Don't mean to hijack the thread or anything but BHG, how do you like that CVA? My Father-in-law won one this year and have never fired it yet.
