Deer and Rain?

Where do deer like to go or what do they like to do when it rains. Ive been told that they like to go to the cedars. Any advice.

Shot a doe last year as she stepped out into an open field from the woods. It was almost completely dark, and raining.(91 yds w/ .270) I was in my box blind nice and dry! ;)

I think it depends on the temp, how hard the rain is, and what wind there is......as long as the wind isn't up and it's not a hard rain they'll be moveing just like always......even more so I think if it's cold, they have to eat.

I agree with this. If it's real windy, I like to go inside a pine thicket at one of the places I hunt. If you can find a bunch of Holly trees or a combo of the two, you should do well in heavy rain, wind or snow.
