I have the same problem, the solution was to get a treestand. I see much more deer than when I used to sit on the ground. The only time I am on the ground now is when I am still hunting in bad weather.

A couple double cheese burgers and a Big Mac from Mc Donaldls. That puts me down where I don't want to move. That shoulld keep you still.
Just kidding. Good question. My dad who is in his 60's and my son who is 6 have a hard time keeping still.

I would suggest less coffee in the morning. But I find if I bring a good book to read while up in the trees help.

That's like waving a flag! Motion on Stand is #1 NO/NO. You are better off taking a nap!

will power and self conrol you can't allow yourself to be moving just look how it makes stuff jump out of the background. no caffine in the morning and get all of your stuff together and organized before you hit the woods. get a snack before you go. I promise you will never see as many deer if you can
't sit still they see you before you see them and then they'll be gone. sure a young deer may not notice every nowand then but the big guys will.
