I shoot a 30-06 springfield with a brownging action. It used to be my dad's which he used for about 20 years, but he gave it to me when he bought his 300 win mag the year they came out. It doesn't matter how accurate you are with a 300 mag as long as you hit them they are going down.. But i still love the 30-06!! best rifle i've ever shot!!!

My win. 94 AE Blackshadow with it's 24 inch barrel is a tack driver at 200 yrds, I have had it 5 yrs now no problems and i have got a deer every year since i got it. i have also use a 7-08, amd 6mm.

I started with a Marlin 336 in .35 Remington, but switched to a Remington 7600 in .30-06. I still take my .35 as a brush/backup gun.

I rifle hunt with a Marlin Model 336 lever action chambered in .35 Remington caliber, no scope. I bought the rifle, new, in 1976 and absolutely love it.
