Going on my first Canada hunt at the end of the month. Anyone ever hunted around the Kenora area - Lake of the Woods? Very excited about going. Any recommendations? What will the weather be like?

I hunted there last year ...going again this year, good area ...miles of crown land

weather can be 50 or 10....

I live w/in a couple hrs from kenora, in MB not ONT. Today they are calling for rain in the afternoon and then snow this evening. Although I was in the woods on the w/end and it was in the mid 70's on sat. and sun morn it turned and was in the mid 30's. I would say be prepared for both cold and warm weather. Have fun! PM me if you have a long wait for your flight in Winnipeg and maybe we can meet for coffee...... if your plane leaves in the morning look for the bald(shaved) headed security guard with a red beard...... he hunts w/me and loves to chat.[:-]
