ive harvested one deer i my life and it was opening day of last year
year and a hlaf 6 point after seeing 8or9 does

I don't like to shoot deer on opening day, it ruins the season. :D Maybe that is just an excuse... :eek:

When I have more than 1 tag, I won't hesitate to take a deer on opening day and have done so 6 or 8 times. Not only have I taken them on opening day shortly after sunrise, I've been lucky enough to fill a tag on the last day of the season just before sunset.

Deer, no. Elk, yes. Several times.
