The GA rut
 

I live in South GA and was wondering aobut how long the rut will last down here. It has been pretty warm, but the weather is about to cool off. Will the bucks still chase the does in the warmer weather? The reason I ask is because I haven't really seen that much sign around where I hunt.

It comes in at different times in this state.I would say in your neck of the woods it will peak around thanksgiving.They will chase in warmer weather but it will probably happen at night.But when we get a good cold snap happens look for them to move more in the daylight hours.If you were a big buck running Does ,you would want to do it when its hot.Good luck
