Go to the Texas Parks and Wildlife website. They have all kinds of info including a link to the rut in Texas. Allen

I've looked at a couple of diff. state/wildlife bio. sites and they are saying "11/12 - 11/22". I myself am pretty intrested in the rut schedule for E. TX seeing how i'm hunting there this weekend myself (Panola co., south of Marshall).

pretty much had this weekend pinpointed for about a month.

good luck!!

I live in North west Texas and here the rut hasnt even started yet. It should be getting started pretty soon. You can look on the Texas Parks and Wild life web. sight to get dates for when the rut starts in your area. It is put together based on data collected over a three year period. It will give you a good idea as to when it will start and end.
