Trail cam pics

This is the first time we ever got deer on film. Our camera is not that great and the pics aren't that good either, but I'm happy to see that I have deer in my hunting spot! :)

Also a picture of a weird tree that I took with my digital camera

That doe looks like apretty nice one!

I'm going to guess that you have the Wildview .3

I also have one.

One thing I noticed is, the camera has sorta like a telephoto lens. In other words, it seems like the pictures are zoomed in too close and you end up without getting the whole deer in the photo.

I've learned to set the camera back a few extra feet to try to get more of the deer in the photo. The only drawback is, when it takes pictures at night, the flash isn't strong enough to light up the deer when it is farther away.

I have many pictures like yours where I only have bits and pieces of deer. But after a while you kinda catch on how to set it up to get better photos.

I enjoy setting the camera and waiting to see what's on it. It is exciting. I'm sure you guys feel the same way.

My camera is a Wildview digital. My dad and I are going to look into buying a Cuddeback or a CamTrakker, because they are better. Our camera here must be too slow because in 4 days ofleaving the camera out, we only got 7 pictures.

Piebald, is that Melanistic buck that you mentioned seeing totally black? That would be awesome if you could get a pic of him.
