foggy scopes?

I know theres a trick that scuba divers use before they go under water, they spit on their mask and then rub it out. it keeps them from getting foggy. could you spit on your scopes and rub it out before you go outside and prevent your scope from foggin up at the wrong time?

is the fog on the inside or out side of the lense?

ok i dont know if the spitting would work because i think it would leave a smear on ther but i could be wrong and another option is look around they may make some cleaner that stops that from happening

Go to any eyeglass place or many drug stores and there is a spray on liquid mist that cleans glasses and slows fogging. Bringing a gun from a hot camp to the cold outside will cause the fogging. Keep the gun in your cold truck or car to eliminate the temp variation which will cause it.

That's what I do to eliminate the problem...

Quality scopes have coatings that may be affected by the wrong kind of additive, be careful what you put on a scope.

If your scope fogs up get a better scope. I believe Rain X makes an anti fog liquid, never used it though.
