Nice buck, I would bet on the rut unless you can pick up his schedule before season opens for ya. Good luck!

What about the buck? has he been back? j/k we have a couple on camera that seem to hit once every 3 weeks or so, must be cruising thru!

He's a young deer, if you don't see him this year he will be a good'un next year. Trophy coon though......:)

How can you tell the raccoon is a "he"? hahaha! Tough call on the buck without knowing too much. How many bucks have you seen in that area? Any pressure from adjacent hunting property? Seen him on the side of the road as road kill? Too many variables. Keep the cam loaded and maybe he will be back for your food once all the acorns are gone. Could be his diet has changed and he rather prefers acorns or perhaps he's gettin busy with that raccoon!!

Great call!!! Look who stopped by last night.Appears to be the same buck that I posted in this thread previously. Great mass, especially for a buck around these parts. Only 4 pictures this time as opposed to 30+ in July. I happened to be up and saw the flash going off, shot the spotlight out to see what it was and probably spooked him.[:@]
