i hunt all day, stalking or from a stand. i have seen the largest bucks in the evening and afternoon.

i hunt all day but i have taken all my deer between 6:20am and 7:25am.

i like to get in and set up before the sun comes up.so the deer and not spooked as much. i think it is best time to get the bucks going from there beds or chasing does to their beds.

The best time to hunt is when it is first light enough to see until you can't see. Not a joke. Some of my best days hunting have been when I have have sat in one spot all day. Be sure to take a book. It is tough to stay in one place that long, but it is the only way you will know what comes by. That said, I can't do that all the time, but sometimes it pays off. Especially if you find a really hot trail and just know that if you leave one will walk by.
