Good optics are a necessity. Look at the head, the shape of the head. A young bucks head will be shorter, young masculine and the bumps on his head should be visible unless he is real little. Ground Checkem, just kidding... Just look real hard at the head for the nubbs. If you cant tell dont risk it... |

also a good powerfulset of binos or spotting scope with really help out too.
