Laser Bore Sight 270 Win.
 

I am looking for a laser bore sight to sight my savage .270. I know that most of them are the .223 cal. that have a .270 sleeve to go around it to make a fit for the gun. Please let me know if you do have one for sale, ill buy it. Thanks.

You know if you have a bolt action you can just look down the barrel at a target and do it that way. Costs all of nothing. I have done this to all my rifles and slug guns, as well as my hunting friends. Most of them are within a few inches at 25 and 50 yards. And this is with big bored rifles like 12 ga slug guns and 50 cal MLs. A smaller diameter bore will even be easier to do it.

Are you planning on shimming and adjusting the mounts when you do this? Or just turning the scope adjustments? Because if you don't plan on getting it as close as you can with the mounts just shoot it at a target up close, like 15 or 20 yards and adjust from there. Put the gun in a good solid rest, then fire a shot. Then point the rifle at the spot you aimed at for that shot and adjust the the scope until the cross hairs move to the bullet hole.

Then finnish it up at 50 and 100 yards, or whatever distance you want your zero to be at.

Exactly! I have two expensive laser sighting sets and I can sight better by bore sighting and even adjusting the scope.
