I have been hunting since aug. 15th saw nothing but doe's ,we can start shootin them 15th of sept,.Shoot what you want to guns bows it don't matter .:D:D:D:D:D:D

ORIGINAL: Rob/PA Bowyer There are gun seasons open? I thought only archery come in this early? OH YEAH.......Lots of Regions are open to the rifle hunter in British- Columbia....... In some regions of our Province,rifle seaon as early as Aug 15 for certain big game animals.. Bow hunters and Muzzleloading hunters up here,"REALLY" don't have the advantage of getting the oportunity of an early season hunt like most of you do in the States... In most instances a Bow hunter may have a week to ten days of hunting before the rifle season kicks in... And most of the serious "BIG GAME" rifle hunters are in the bush 3-4 days before the rifle season starts scouting the bush/terrain .. This all during during Bow Season.. So in reallity the Bow Hunter may get 3 -4 days alone in the field... Overall throughout the course of the hunting season,a very small percentage of animals are harvestedduring this period.. Nothing subastancial enough for me to want to take up Bow Hunting or for me to see any beneficial use by even doing it in our Province.... |
