Moon Guide/Rut Guide
 

Has anyone tried the "dial moon guide" or "rut guide" that Cabelas sells? Does deer hunting by the moon work? Any input would be great!

The jury is still out on hunting by the moon (for me a least), I have kept notes for the pass two years and checked my success against the moon time. I have had some sucess during the prime time and none at other times. However; you must be where the deer are to have any success, right? check out the post on the bowhunting forum "T.R. tips- does moon affect deer hunting" or he says to email him and he will send you information on the subject!
