Gerber Light Test #2

Used some beef blood off of hamburger meat, a little watery, made a line about 6' long in the yard, green grass. I then took some beef blood from a pack of liver, the closest thing to fresh blood I can think of to use. Couldn't see a thing with the Gerber light on the hamburger blood. On the liver blood I made one line in the green grass and one in some oak leaves. You could see it, but I could see it better with the white light. I think I'm going to put it back in the box and send it back. Fresh 100% blood might make a difference, but I thought at least I would be able to have some sort of highlighted/glowing blood. Maybe some of the others that bought one will give their opinion. Not worth $50 IMHO.

I've never heard of a gerber light. I take it, it helps you see blood while tracking a deer?

Gerber Carnivore , in addition to a bright white light you can switch over to competing spectrum red and blue LEDs for tracking . I figured it was a gimmick , thanks for the review Timbercruiser .
