Tricks

OK the deer season is comming up fast so my question is. What are your favorite tricks for getting your Whitetailed deer. my favorite is to follow a stream till I come to a major crossing. I don't know why but I have found that deer seem to all like to cross at the same point and then spread out and go there own way again. OK now your turn.

I have a honey-hole close to a old swamp area and it is awesome during the afternoon hunts. I have never seen anything in the morning exceptsmall game. I bow hunt it a lot.

This one's easy. A golf cart, spot light, and a cross bow. Works everytime.

No just kidding

I don't really have any tricks so to speak. I just do a lot of scouting during late winter through early summer. I look for tracks in the wet ground, trails crossing roads or 4wheeler trails, and old rub lines

The big boys like the ridges and hollows where there isn't a lot of human traffic.
I look forplaces you can't get a four wheeler. Grown up thickets and high walls. Sometimes the big bucks go to these areas year after year when they start seeing alot of hunters in the woods.
Sad as it is to say, A lot of hunters these day are eitherunable or too lazy to hunt ina place they can't drive to. And that gives me the edge on all my hunting competition!!
I have had extreme sucess hunting deer and bear this way!!!

I hunt over a pear tree next to about 5 or 6 parsimon trees and a corn field or clover field (which ever the farmer plants) works every time.
