SCENT ELIMINATION ADVICE
JUST LOOKING FOR A LITTLE INSIGHT ON PRODUCTS AND METHODS THAT OTHERS USE IN THEIR SCENT ELIMINATION PROGRAM. I JUST CAN'T BRING MYSELF TO PAY $300+ FOR A SCENTLOK SUIT (ESPECIALLY SINCE I JUST BOUGHT A NEW TRUCK).I HAVE THE OLDER BROWN SCENTLOK UNDER GARMENTS AND THEY SEEM TO WORK WELL. EACH PRESEASON I WASH ALL CAMO, UNDERWEAR, SOCKS, WASHCLOTHS AND TOWELS THAT I'LL USE IN HUNTER'S DETERGENT AND HANG THEM ALL OUT. THEN I PUT ALL OF THEM IN PLASTIC CONTAINERS WITH FRESH LEAVES FROM THE FOREST FLOORWITHAPPLES AND FERNS. I ALSO ALWAYS TAKE A SCENT FREE SHOWER PRIOR TO EVERY HUNT AND DOUSE MYSELF AND EQUIPMENT WITH SCENT ELIMINATOR. ANY USEFUL PRODUCTS OR OTHER SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

LOL
we have some noscented washing powders, just for hunting clothes. i like to wash and air dry them.. squirt some big buck earth cover scent and throw them in a big black plastic bag, tied up.. we use the nonscented soap and underarm deoderant, from walmart. if hunting in pines i use turpentine.. not a bunch on dollars in this.. you know folks did kill deer before all this stuff came out.. |
