I have used it a couple times. It will get you on the paper at 100yrds but you will still need to fine tune at the range.
Not worth the $$$ IMO
You should be able to go to the range and have your firearm sighted in with just a few shots. Start close and then move back.

That is correct. You will probably be on paper, but you will need to fine tune the scope. You can also bore sight it without any laser at all. Secure the rifle, in a rifle vice, or something similar so it won't move. Remove the bolt, and visually sight in on something looking down the barrel. Like a door knob, or anything small. Then match the cross hairs up to it. Won't be perfect, but just like the laser you will be on paper. You can search the net and find much better directions than these if you are interested in this method. Good luck

I agree w/ Longrifle1000. Take the bolt out and actually bore site it. Its free and it works better than you would expect. I recently switched scopes for my .30-06 and sighted in, in just this manner. When I hit the range I was 1/2" low at 25yds, bang on w/horizontal. 1 click and I was dead on at 100yds. I learned this when I was in the artillery shooting 105mm howitzers, in the CDN armed forces.
