I have mineral blocks that I put there for the past five years that get hit real hard in the early spring to late summer. This year I put out a stump feeder to help the deer have a faster recovery from the winter and I think they only used it in april and since I have only been feeding the COONS! Up here in NW Ohio it is already a all you can eat buffet and feeders are pointless. They are hitting the site for the minerals. That area is surrounded on three sides by corn and one side by beans, then to the west on the next farm their is clover. When the racks stop growing these deer will split up and not been seen as much.:(

Very good pictures I like that big eight pointer hanging around like he's all that.
Are you gonna put a treestand in one of them trees near by, it would be a purfect ambush spot.
Good luck I know your gonna have fun this fall.

Thanks for all the reply guys!! RDHunter, here is a pic of my stand before I moved the cam a little. The stand is homemade out of 1/4" angle iron that was thrown away from work. It's 23' feet to the platform which is 44"*54". It's my little "club Cabana"!! My cam is now on the second tree to the left of the ladderstand. The second pic is from my stand looking down where the deer are in the pics. The cam is on the small tree up close in the pic. It is a twenty yard shot to the mineral lick.
