If I ever came up with the spare money, I wouldn't mind buying a repro-set of the Missouri Monarch or the Hanson buck, and buying a nice big cape and having a shoulder mount made to hang in the house or deer camp.
IMO, if you're truly a whitetail enthusiast, there's nothing wrong with having a mount of the "best of the best" just to look at and appreciate.

No, I wouldn't buy somebody else's rack- especially one that's not even authentic.
DD- I don't think cardeer was talking about your deer. I think he was talking about his own. 
He's pretty low profile about what he's killed, but I've seen a few select photos that proves he's taken some monsters!
Car I had thought about approching someone like Cabelas but to be honest I was not sure what type of responce they would give. I know you have seen the buck I took in Canada but I was not sure if it was the kind of buck they would be interested in or not ...I do think its quite unique and has a ton of charactor but just not sure if it has enough for someone to want to buy ..
