I'll be in Adair county come September 1st. Hey it works both ways, at least its cheaper for you to come here and hunt with us than us with you. $121 dollars is crazy this year

Now maybe all you Tenn. boys can stay home instead of killing our Ky deer.
I'm glad to see the management is working. It always has a lot of opposition until people see that its working.

I see ...so that is "YOUR" definition of managing ..but how does it apply to deer in "YOUR" opinionis my question? You see some are not just trophy hunters ..some are meat hunters and the term "management" would be subjective ... thus the reason for my question to you ..

I wish there were some type of management going on in the area that I live in. It seems like every year there are a few nice deer taken. But the potentially nice bucks that get harvested far outweigh the mature ones that do.

All I was getting at is Tennessee is seeing better quality bucks as well as a better balanced herd. In 1998 they went from an 11 buck limit to a 2 buck limit. Then in 1999 they went to a 3 buck limit where it stands now. Also the doe harvest has gone up 6 percent. It may not be a perfect management plan but it was much better than it was.
