Tennessee makes all center-fires legal

Yep, if you got a centerfire rifle it's legal for deer hunting in Tennessee. .223 or whateverbring them own and start slinging some lead. Didn't see any limitations on clip size (there could be, I just havn't found it)so I guess you can put a banana clip in you M16 or equivelant and let em rip. That could be scary. What you think?

In FL the minimum is .243 and no center rifle loadedwith more than five rounds.

Idiots making the laws in Tn. No way the smaller calibers should be used to shoot a deer IMHO.

+1. leave the .22's at home for whitetail hunting. It's not all about shooting deer, it's about the deer in general. It's not ethical to put the deer at higher risk for injury than nessessary. Using a ligher rifle for recoil reduction purposes is one thing, hunting with a 22 to try and show the world you're the best shot in da land is another. It takes perfect precise shooting to kill whitetail with a 22 cal bullet.A 30-06 gives more leeway to failure. Just because you're dead-eye-dick with a 22 cal, don't mean you should risk injuring a deer to prove it. Just my opinion on 22 cal. for deer.
