Default Question about a Deer? with picture ???

Is the doe in the picture just a regular fawn or one of the piueboll, piebald, or however you say it ????? This is off the same trail as our big buffalo, texas buck......I thought it could be the sun, but look at the plants around her/him........there is no sun glare on the ground..

Look at it closely, the fawn's rump appears normal, are you sure about the glare?

I'm sure its just glare from the sun, plants don't reflect light like hair or feathers of an animal or abird.

Yep, looks like glare to me to. If you look closely under the fawn's muzzle, you'll see the ground awash in sunlight.

I agree, you can see sunlight splashed throughout the background as well.
Cool picture.

I say piebald if there was a glare the back legs would not be spotted like that also the ears are spotted.

I am going to say piebald also. I can see where some people think it is reflected sunlight, but looking at the head tells me piebald. I sse white at the bottom of the ear. Look at the nose also. I see no reflection where the nose is black. You'd think the wet nose would surely reflect light, but it doesn't on this photo. So I think it is a piebald.
