5 to 11 deer/ SqKM

That's the population of deer in the rural part of my city right now.
or roughly 7-16 deer/sq mile. How much scouting is going to be necessary with populations like that?

Sorry for being a math critic, but a square mile is approx. 2.6 times the area of a sq. kilo. So, if you've got 5-11/km squared, you've got about 13-28/mi. squared. That's fair to above average deer density.
