Martin Cougar Mag Bow to start things off but I spend a lot of time hunting with a smokepole as well- this year I'll be giving the new Savage 10II 50 cal. a go. I also use a CF which is a custom 700BDL LH action chambered in 7mm rem mag. Have a few back ups as well.

My primary deer rifles are a pair of customs built on stainless 700 actions with match grade barrels,pillar bedded into mcmillan stocks.Both are chambered in 7mmstw,andwear 3x10x42 swarovski scopes.

It all depends I use my Bear/Jennings Bow, My good ole trusty
12 guage Ithica M66 Supersingle, or a 30-30 Marlin

I have to begin saying the only way for me to start my deer season right is to put a Gold Tip XT through the lungs ofa white tail with my beloved Mathews LX.

Then...

We can't use rifles here but the first thing I grab during firearms season is my Encore ML with Hornady L-N-L sabot and 150 grains worth of Pyrodex pellets. The second thing I grab is my ole Model 1300 Winchester 12 Guage with Winchester Partition Gold slugs.

I usually go to Eastern Kentucky hunting White tail every year and then I bring two rifles. Winchester Model 70 300 Win mag with some 150 grain ballistic silvertips that I load, and my 2nd rifle is a good old Winchester Model 94 30-30.

And during all of these except Bow Season, I'll have my trusty Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 on my side ready to go to work!

For January smokepole season: Knight Disc Extreme, 50 Cal, Bushnell Banner 3-9x50 scope, Barnes Expander Spitzer Boattail, 285 grain

My 13 YO son: Remington 870 20 ga, Rifled Barrel, Bushnell holosight on saddle mount, Federal sabot slugs
His ML: Knight Wolverine, Bushnell Banner 2-7x32 scope
